Pogo Pins of Various Types
With the growth of the market and the advancement of product technology, more and more products are pursuing trendy appearances as well as compact and thin appearances. However, designing and manufacturing such a product is a problem for any electronic product engineer. Based on this, Pomagtor’s Pogo Pins have apparent advantages in terms of structural space consumption, assembly cost, longevity, sample cycle, cost, and so on.
The invention of the Pogo Pin
The Pogo Pin comprises needles, needle tubes, springs, and other components. They are classified into the following types to stabilize the connector’s performance:
- Pogo Pin Bevel Structure
The Pogo Pin’s design concept ensures low and stable contact resistance and the product’s stable conduction.
- Pogo Pin’s back-drilling structure
The matching spring of this Pogo Pin design may be longer than the needle tube, however, the reverse drilling design can achieve stable elastic force and stroke in restricted space.
- Pogo Pin’s flat bottom structure
Because of this design, the Pogo Pin and the Pogo Pin cannot come into contact with the structure of the thimble under certain conditions, preventing the current from passing through the needle. Instead, the tube wall will go along the spring, causing the resistance to be too high and the voltage to drop significantly, resulting in an unstable current of electronic products.
